Preparations are underway for the 2024 RMLA Conference and Trade Show!

As always, our ultimate goal is to provide compelling, advancing, and topical education to the ski industry’s lift operations and maintenance work force, and that will not be compromised. In order to stay ahead we must give our personnel the tools and knowledge they need to succeed. This training leads to engagement and engagement leads to retention.

2024 SAVMI Conference & Tradeshow

The Ski Area Vehicle Maintenance Institute (SAVMI) is a non-profit organization, which represents ski area vehicle maintenance personnel throughout North America. The primary focus of the organization is to provide education and a platform for exchange of information between ski areas and suppliers.

The SAVMI Conference & Trade Show is the largest annual gathering of the SAVMI membership.  (And we believe it to be the largest gathering of ski area vehicle personnel in the US!)  The educational presentations and networking opportunities offered are extremely valuable.  Over the past several years there have been many changes in the ski area vehicle maintenance industry and our organization provides your staff with the most updated materials available today.  Conference goers receive expert instruction, take part in “hands-on” demonstrations, meet with industry suppliers & consultants at the trade show, and mix with industry people at several social and recreational events.

Western Colorado Red Hatters Walking the Red Carpet

It is time to feel special and be in the spotlight. Come one- come all – May 16 – 19, 2024
The Western Slope of Colorado has 3 Red Hat Society chapters that have joined together again to host a fabulous Red Hat convention in downtown Grand Junction, Colorado. The ladies that attended in 2017 had a great time and we want all of you, plus all your friends back again.

Thursday Night:
Meet and Greet Event – stop by the Convention Center to pick up your packets, lanyards and any event merchandise you preordered. Visit with us, ask questions and plan for a whirlwind weekend.

Friday during the day:
Vendor Alley will be open for your shopping pleasure all day Friday and Saturday. We have vendors that you all know and love as well as several new ones that will be offering new and unique items that you will just have to take home.

Friday Night: Night at the Oscars
Dress as your favorite actor, celebrity or character. We understand that it could be very hard to dress for this theme in red hat colors so it is not required. HOWEVER, we are asking you to use your imagination and include SOMETHING red hat on your costume. This should end up being really fun to see how creative everyone is. Photo booths will be available so you can capture the moment. Not into costumes? That is okay, you are welcome to dress in red hat attire appropriate for a night at the Oscars.
Dance the night away with the sounds from Rick Mancuso & the 5 Stars Band. They play a variety of music to please everyone.

Saturday: An optional Hi Tea party for $25.   This is limited to 50 ladies so register early.

There will also be optional jewelry making $10.

Bingo (bring your dobber)

Saturday: Walking the Red Carpet
Your are invited to Walk the Red Carpet and strut your stuff in your best Red Hat regalia! What a great opportunity to dig out your finery, great hats, bling and be in the spotlight all evening. We will be amazed and astounded by “Magic by Rudy Chacon”.

Sunday Morning:
Join us for a plated farewell breakfast to send you all on your way. Last chance to connect with new friends. Be sure and bring your business cards to share
