More Than Just Space
The largest and conveniently located convention center between Denver and Salt Lake City, Grand Junction Convention Center is ideal for meetings, seminars, reunions, weddings, receptions, banquets, concerts, galas and trade shows. Grand Junction Convention Center's nearly 24,120 square feet of space can accommodate you and your group of up to 2,670 people.
A fountain named "The Song of Two Rivers" greets you as you approach the main entrance, and an atrium greets you once inside. Three ballrooms (the River Rooms) of at least 5,800 square feet each are on one side of the center, while across the Concourse Hallway are six smaller rooms (the Creek Rooms) that can be configured in different ways to meet your needs.
Rooms are available for dining and dancing, and the center's culinary team caters events in-house or at the Avalon Theatre. Convention center staff can customize spaces with your décor – any theme imaginable – and food, everything from concessions to an elaborate fruit display and custom martini bar.
An environmentally responsible site, Grand Junction Convention Center has gone green. In addition to recycling and using earth-friendly cleaning products, the center is completing renovation projects with features like solar panels and carpet made from recycled materials.
